Clayton Davis
Runs every hunt himself — scouts the water, sets the blinds and the spread, and gets you on birds. Patient with first-timers and happy to have kids in the blind.
The Outfit
Davis Guide Service is a small, hands-on Central Texas outfit — one guide, one very good dog, and a lot of early mornings.
Who We Are
Davis Guide Service runs fully guided waterfowl hunts in the wetlands around College Station, Texas, and thermal hog hunts down in South Texas. It’s a young operation, run the honest way — good ground, hard work before sunup, and treating every hunter like they were invited to camp.
Clayton guides every hunt personally, and his Lab, Annie, does the retrieving. There’s no big lodge and no sales pitch here — just a guide who knows the water, sets the spread himself, and wants you to have a morning worth driving back for.

The chocolate Lab on the badge and on the water. Annie makes the retrieves so the birds come to hand — and she’s the first to greet you at the truck.
How We Run
Every hunter gets treated like they were invited to camp — not processed through a schedule.
Blinds and decoys are set before you arrive, on ground that actually holds birds.
New hunters and kids are the heart of it. If it’s your first time, you’re in the right place.
