No. Blinds and a full decoy spread are provided and set before you arrive. Bring your camo, waders, shotgun and non-toxic shells — or add a Stoeger M3000 gun rental for $75.
For waterfowl you’ll need a Texas hunting license and a Texas waterfowl stamp, which are the hunter’s responsibility. Thermal hog hunts in this setting don’t require a hunting license.
You’ll head out before dawn and typically hunt until around 11 o’clock, so you can be home for lunch.
The wetlands we hunt draw a real mixed bag — teal, gadwall, widgeon, pintail and more, along with mallard, shoveler, redhead, canvasback, bluebill and wood duck across the season.
Absolutely. New hunters and kids are welcome and encouraged — Clayton walks you through it and keeps it fun.
We hunt wild hogs in South Texas under thermal optics, either sitting a blind or riding the SxS to spot-and-stalk. Guns, ammo and thermal are provided; you can bring your own rifle if it’s suppressed. Hunts run late evening to around 12:30 a.m.
Yes on both hunts — keep the meat is included. For hog nights, bring a cooler and ice.
