Fully guided mornings in the flooded wetlands — blinds set, decoys out, and Annie ready on the water.
The Morning
Come hunt waterfowl in Central Texas. This is a fully guided hunt — all you need is a Texas hunting license and waterfowl stamp, your camo, waders, shotgun and non-toxic shells.
The wetlands we hunt draw several species of waterfowl, including teal, gadwall, widgeon and pintail, all of which you can target on this trip with your outfitter, Clayton, and his Lab, Annie. He provides portable blinds and all the decoys you’ll need.
You’ll get out there before dawn and hunt until 11 o’clock or around that time, so you can even be home for lunch. Whether you’ve hunted ducks before or are just learning the ropes, you’ll have a great time — and with some luck, take home a few beautiful birds.
